SLOW UP Women's Qigong Retreat - Fall 26
Coming Home to Yourself

Description
Thursday, October 15th 4:30pm - Sunday, October 18th 10:00am Layton, Utah _________________________________________________________________________________________ This retreat is about coming home. At times, we all experience the feeling of no longer being at home in our own skin, our own hearts, or our own minds. We may also lose our sense of belonging in the world. We live in a time and place in which we are often asked to live disconnected from our Essence, with all the consequences this entails. It is time to return. This intimate retreat is a mindful gathering for women who are willing to listen deeply and hear what longs to be expressed from the wiser and more authentic parts of themselves. Held by Nature, we will come together to explore our relationship with the idea of home through themes such as belonging, vulnerability, the inner critic, silence, empathy, compassion, forgiveness, and more. With authenticity and honesty, we will bring into the light the truth of who we really are. Together, we will explore what prevents our soul from feeling truly at home within our being, engage in supportive practices to remove these obstacles, simplify our life, and cultivate a deeper sense of home within ourselves. The feeling of being Home is expansive. It expands through time and throughout the ecosystems we navigate. We carry it within our rituals, our relationships, and our connections. Coming Home is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to the Source, to who we have always been beneath years of conditioning, walking on eggshells, and hiding. It is about returning to our inherent wholeness and oneness. In the classical Chinese tradition, the Dao is the source of all life. This edition of the SLOW UP retreat is an invitation to reconnect with the roots of our lineage and embrace the qualities of the Five Phases of Transformation. During this three-day retreat, we will be guided by the energy of the Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water—and move according to the ancient practice of Dao Yin, the ancestor of Qigong. Together, we will create a sacred space in which to nourish our individual and collective experiences and mindfully attune ourselves to the flow of Life. You will return home feeling resourced, centered, and renewed with a deeper sense of belonging and a profound feeling of being at home within yourself.
