In the heart of Fall, connect with nature at this intimate mountain retreat in Midway, Utah, and come into contact with your own inner wisdom. The SLOW UP retreat is an invitation to unblock your energy and Unleash your Potential.

Together we will surrender to the nourishing energy of the Earth, attend deeply to our unique experience, and initiate subtle yet powerful shifts in our body, heart, and soul through the practice of Qigong, meditation, listening, and authentic sharing of our experiences with others.

Facilitator: Chantal Papillon, MQP

Chantal is the creator of the Slow Up program and founder of Mindful Essence. She teaches Qigong and offers Healing Qigong and Vitality Coaching sessions online and in-person in the Salt Lake City metro area. Having studied and worked in personal development for over twenty years, she has developed her own personal approach aimed at giving people practical strategies, self-care practices and tools that enable them to restore the harmonious flow of Qi in their body, thereby promoting their overall health and well-being.

​​Email with your room preference and any food allergies. Deposits are not refundable except if your accommodation preference is not available. The balance payment is due by September 15th 11:59pm MT, or within 24 hours of confirmation if after September 16th.  All final payments are non-refundable. If the retreat is cancelled for any reason, all participants will be refunded.

WHAT TO BRING 

  • Your curiosity and a beginner's mind

  • A journal and a pen

  • A water bottle and any personal drinks or snacks (*This is an alcohol-free retreat*)

  • Clothing for all weather including:

    • Cozy clothes that you can easily put on and take off to better adapt to the variation in your body temperature depending on our activities.

    • Sunglasses

    • Sunhat

    • Rain gear

  • Footwear:

    • Good shoes for walking

    • Indoor shoes if desired - Choose non-slip shoes for Qigong 

  • Self-reliance: Bring whatever you need. Please bring:

    • Personal toiletries: toothbrush/paste, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, sunscreen, etc.

    • Medical and personal supplies:  Tylenol/aspirin, cough drops, eye drops and lip balm…

    • Bedding and towels are provided.  

  • Optional:

    • A shawl, wrap or blanket to keep you warm and cozy

    • A mat for outdoor practice

    • A meditation cushion

    • A book for your solo time
